Jack Daniel Myers

Jack Daniel Myers, 89, formerly of Dover passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Normandie Ridge in York, PA.

He was born April 10, 1935, in Warrington Township, York County, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Charles and Clarissa (Deckman) Myers.

Jack served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was retired from Continental Wire and Cable in York. 

Jack was a member of the St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception in York as well as the National Horseshoe Association, Golden Nuggets, Dover Fish and Game Association and the Mt. Wolf Fish and Game Association.   

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joan E. (Hilbert) Myers; his son, Mark D. Myers of York; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death along with his parents by his daughter Melanie Marie Myers.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, PA . A visitation will be held Saturday from 1-2  pm at the funeral home.
