James Prough, III Obituary

James L. Prough, III, 67, of Dillsburg passed away Monday, March 28, 2022, at the Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, Camp Hill.

He was born May 15, 1954, in Massachusetts the son of the late James L. Prough, Sr. and Margaret (Smeltzer) Prough.

James was employed by Walmart where he worked as a stocker and formerly worked at Wendy's as a crew member. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp and the U.S. Army National Guard.

James is survived by one son, Noah Prough of Dillsburg; one daughter, Katiejo Prough of Dillsburg; four siblings, Sharon Prough, Pat Prough, Mark Prough, Pauline Prough; and one granddaughter, Adalynn.

Services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northern York County Fire and Rescue, 109 S. Baltimore St., Dillsburg, PA 17019.
