James M. Leese, 79, of Dillsburg, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at his home.
He was born September 16, 1942, in York the son of the late Charles and Anna (Krebs) Leese.
Jim retired from Handwerk Site Contractors in Hummelstown, where he worked as a mechanic and shop manager. He previously worked at Cromer Motors in Dillsburg, Spangler Pontiac in Rossville, L.B. Smith, Inc., in Lemoyne, and Brady Contracting in Camp Hill. After his retirement, he worked at Golden Rentals. He had been the club manger for eleven years at the South Mountain V.F.W. in Dillsburg.
Jim was a member of Monaghan Presbyterian Church, Life Member of the N.R.A., South Mountain V.F.W., Vietnam Veterans Assoc., and the Dillsburg 190 Hunting Club. Jim served his country in the U.S. Army, 9th Infantry Division, during the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing.
Jim is survived by his wife, June; his son, Rob; two step-sons, Rich and Jeff ; one step-daughter, Nancy; one brother, Robert; one sister, Donna; four step-grandchildren. and four step-great-grandchildren, and 5 nephews, and 1 niece.
Services and burial date has not been determined.
