Janet A. (Baker) Leib, 93, formerly of Abbottstown, passed away peacefully, entering her forever home with Jesus, on Friday, April 4th, 2025 at SpiriTrust at Luther Ridge, Chambersburg.
She was born Sunday, November 8th, 1931 in Dillsburg, York County, Pennsylvania to the late Chester and Margaret Himes Baker.
Janet worked in the Hospitality industry as a Set-up assistant for the Hanover Country Club. She sang with the York County Choir and was a member of the Harvest Chapel, Abbottstown.
She is the widow of the late Allen L. Leib (11/08/1998).
Janet is survived by her beloved children, Rocky A. Leib and his wife, Debra, of Spring Grove; Scott H. Leib and his wife, Diane, of Abbottstown; Vicky A. Cooper, of Fayettsville and Jody E. Sneeringer, of New Oxford. 9 Grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Baker.
Services will be held Saturday, April 12th, 2025 at 10:30 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home,Inc., 30 N. Chestnut Street, Dillsburg, PA with Pastor Matt Smith, officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday, from 9:30 am – 10:30 am, one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be alongside her husband in the Dillsburg Cemetery – Mountain Road.
