Jay W. Powley, 79, of Dillsburg passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at the Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center.
He was born October 31, 1944, in Dillsburg the son of the late Alfred and Ruth (Neff) Powley.
Jay was a former self employed concrete finisher.
He was a member of the South Mountain V.F.W Post #6771 in Dillsburg and served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard.'
Jay enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all types of animals.
He is survived by his wife Faye A. (Ross) Powley; one son, Tracey L. Powley of Dillsburg; one brother, Jack Powley of Dillsburg; one grandson, Sage and two great-grandsons, Luke and Easton. Jay was preceded in death along with his parents by a son, Lynn W. Powley and his siblings, Victor, Patricia Weber, Robert, Joe, and John.
Services and burial will be held privately in the Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
