Jean E. (Leathery) Jacobs

Jean E. Jacobs, 92, of York, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Providence Place Senior Living, Dover.

    She was born October 10, 1930, in Kralltown, PA the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Baker) Leathery.

   Jean was the widow of Charles E. Jacobs.

   She previously worked in the kitchen at Grandview Golf Course in York, the bakery at the former Super Thrift Grocery Store in Weiglestown, and retired from K-mart in York.

   Jean is survived by five children, Wayne E. Jacobs of West York, Edward L. Jacobs of Nashville, TN, Barry E. Jacobs of York, Sharon L. Bowman of West York, Suzanne M. Kozuch of Dover; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

   Services will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A viewing will be held Thursday from 10-11 am at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Dillsburg Cemetery-Mountain Road.
