Jean Mae Horn

Jean Mae Horn, 79, of Dillsburg, PA and formerly of Baltimore, MD passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the U.P.M.C Harrisburg Hospital.

She was born September 13, 1945, in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Frederick and Elsie (Adams) Horn.

Jean was a dedicated foster mother to many children through out her life. Jean was an avid Elvis fan and enjoyed spending time with her family and keeping up with Fox News. She loved being outside and enjoying the weather.

She is survived by one son, Edward G. Horn (Kay) of Dillsburg; one daughter, Elsie M. Bateman (Ron) of Pasadena, MD; her adopted children, Anthony Horn, William Horn, Sheila Nepomuceno (Edwin) , Joanna Horn, Victoria Horn, John Horn (Dessie), Billy Jo Horn (Trinity), Christopher Horn (Dawn), Vanessa Brooks all of Baltimore, MD;  her siblings, Frederick Horn,  Mary Glensky, John Horn, Kenneth Cornette, Janet Acuna (Leonardo) all of Baltimore, MD; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death along with her parents by her adopted son Michael Brooks and her siblings Brenda Horn, Nancy Sunderland, Barbara Ballesteros, Walter Horn, Charles Horn, and Robert Horn.   

A celebration of life for Jean will be held at a later date by the family.
