Joan K. (Kresge) Malosky

Joan K. Malosky, 93, of Franklintown passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023, at her home.

She was born February 26, 1930, in Freeland, PA the daughter of the late John and Hazel (Yannes) Kresge.

     Joan was the widow of Michael T. Malosky.

     She was the mother of Joan K. Smith of Franklintown, Thomas J. Malosky of Prosperity, South Carolina, Paul A. Malosky of Jarrett, Virginia; and the grandmother of four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Joan was preceded in death, in addition to her parents and husband, by her son Michael S. Malosky and one grandchild.

     She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of God, Dillsburg. 

     Joan enjoyed flowers, birdwatching, and dump hunting. She also enjoyed visiting the Gettysburg Battlefields and New York City.

     Services will be held Friday, June 16, 2023, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A viewing will be held Friday from 10-11 am at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dillsburg.
