John M. McClintock, Jr.

John M. McClintock Jr., 81, passed away October 6, 2025 at the Carlisle Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He was born January 23, 1944, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania the son of the late Mildred (Vogelsong) Shuttlesworth and John McClintock Sr. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Scott McClintock.

      John’s survivors include his children: Bryan McClintock and his wife Lisa, of Etters; Stacy Koons and her husband David, of Mechanicsburg; Jason McClintock and his wife Rebekka, of Carlisle; Christopher McClintock of Harrisburg; Nathan McClintock of Mechanicsburg, and daughter-in-law, Jamie McClintock of Dillsburg; his grandchildren: Shania and Joseph Koons, Aaron, Matthew, Michael, Joel, Jeremiah, and Vada McClintock, Kayla Wilson, and Anna Kemper; his great-granddaughters, Maisie Wilson and Magnolia McClintock; his brother, Robert Vogelsong and his wife Nina, and his sister, Sandy McClintock Westover and her husband Keith; along with his nieces and nephews.

     He was a nationwide truck driver/moving specialist for Allied Van Lines and Graebel Moving and Storage.

     John’s favorite pastimes after retirement included an annual Canada fishing trip, attending family picnics, holiday gatherings and special events, car shows, and gardening.

     His family and friends will be remembering his life privately. Interment at Rolling Green Cemetery at the family’s convenience.
