Julietta (Bomberger) Griffiths

  Julietta died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, August 29th, 2025 at the Sarah Todd Nursing Home, in Carlisle, PA.

   She was born June 21st, 1942 along with her twin sister Julie Ann in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania to parents Joseph E. and Jennie S. Bomberger.  She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Shelva Jean Hasler and Julie Ann Hederick and her late husband David Griffiths.

   She was raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and resided there until her move to Montoursville, Pennsylvania in 1986.  In Lancaster, she was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church and was an active member of the choir and various roles which she enjoyed very much.  She continued her faithful spirit at Bethany Lutheran Church in Montoursville.  

      Julietta graduated in 1960 from McCaskey High School in Lancaster and became a legal secretary in Washington DC for a federal law firm.  After returning to Lancaster, she became executive secretary to the Lancaster County Commissioners.  She was an active member of the Lancaster Women's Club, Christian Singles Club, Christian Women's Club and the Garden Club along with leading many Bible study groups. 

   Julietta is survived by her siblings:  Herbert L. Bomberger (Melba), of Dillsburg, PA and Shirley M. Wilson, Gulf Breeze, FL.  Her step-children:  Kevin Griffiths, of AZ and Kelly Morris (Steve), of Cape Coral, FL.  8 Step-grandchildren, 8 nieces and 4 nephews.  

     Special thanks to the devoted caregivers and many friends Julietta had over the years, she truly appreciated and loved you all.

     A private Memorial Service will be held by the family in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania.
