Kenneth E. Danner

Kenneth E. Danner, 87, of Dillsburg, passed away Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 at his home.

   He was born January 13, 1937, in Siddonsburg, PA the son of the late Paul and Sarah (Donson) Danner.

   Kenneth was the widower of Maureen A. (Arnold) Danner.

   He was a Construction Contractor, building many homes over a tri-state area, and later retired as Head Custodian of Northern York County School District, where he also drove school bus for 30 years.  Kenneth was a graduate of the Northern Joint High School, class of 1955 and was a very active supporter of Northern Alumni. 

   Kenneth was a member of Bowmansdale Church of God and the Dillsburg Senior Center. He also enjoyed bowling. 

   He is survived by two sons, Mark E. Danner of Lancaster, Samuel P. Danner of Wellsville; two daughters, Debra L. Washburn of Georgetown, DE, Susanna J. Edmonds of York; two sisters, Laura Beachley of Mechanicsburg, Julia Paulus of Camp Hill; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Kenneth was predeceased by wife, parents and by two sisters, Margaret Shatzer and Doris Suhr.

   Services will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. Viewings will be held Tuesday from 6-8 pm and Wednesday from 10-11 am at the funeral home.
