Kenneth L. Grove, Jr.

Kenneth “Mike” L. Grove, Jr., 70, of Dillsburg passed away Friday, March 17, 2023, at his home.

He was born July 31, 1952, in Lewisberry the son of Kathryn (Saylor) Grove of York and the late Kenneth L. Grove, Sr.

Mike was a graduate of Red Land High School and then went on to enlist in the U.S. Army and retired from the PA Army National Guard in July of 2012 as a Staff Sergeant. He was employed with the Navy Ships Parts Control Center in Mechanicsburg and retired after 35 years. Mike also worked for Kauffman Bus Service for 15 years. 

He was a member of the Cedar Hill Baptist Church in Dillsburg.

Mike enjoyed playing country music on his guitar with his dad and friends during his younger days. He was a NASCAR fan, loved tinkering around the house and watching wild turkey and deer in his backyard.

Mike is survived in addition to his mother by his loving wife of 37 years, Debbie K. (Wenger) Grove; a son, Kenneth L. Grove, III of Toney, AL; a step-daughter, Dana Hockenberry of Newville; a granddaughter, Josephine Crane of Camp Hill; a brother, Robert L. Grove (Cindy); a sister, Sandy Sipe (Scott); two step-grandchildren; one niece and several nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his daughter Nichole Crane and a sister Jean Almoney.

Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
