Kenneth "Kenny" Michael DeMars

Kenneth Michael DeMars, 67, of Dillsburg, PA passed away Monday, July 27th, 2026, at his home.

    You may know him as Kenny, Uncle Ken, KenKen, or Sweetie, was born February 1st, 1959, in Toledo, OH the son of the late Norbert and Kathryn (Kessler) DeMars.

    Kenny was a self-employed contractor and took great pride in his work and if he could not fix it, no one could.  

    He enjoyed traveling and visited 97 countries and scuba diving with over 300 dives.  Kenny also loved gardening, cooking and baking, fishing, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. 

    Kenny is survived by his loving wife Kathi B. (Birmingham) Parry; four step-children, Michael D. Parry (Jordan) of Lancaster, Kevin J. Parry (Danielle) of Dillsburg, Kyle T. Parry (Hannah) of Lancaster, Nicholas J. Parry (Jayne) of London, England; his siblings, Jenene Wambier of Columbus, OH, Norbert DeMars of Ft. Myers Beach, FL, Michelle Mayher of Ft. Myers, FL,  Christopher DeMars of White Haven, PA, Mark DeMars of Ft. Myers, FL; six grandchildren, Mason, Avery, Hailey, Emilia, Ruby, Poppy; and many nieces and nephews. Kenny was preceded in death along with his parents by four siblings, Kathleen Guthrie, Deborah DeMars, Mary Beth Coffman, and Robert DeMars; and his sister-in-law Marianne DeMars. 

    Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

    An education fund has been established for the DeMars/Parry grandchildren. Contributions can be mailed to 416 S. Filey's Road, Dillsburg, PA 17019 in Kenny's memory.
