Kim Denise (Parmer) McDermott

Kim Denise McDermott, 62, of Dillsburg passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, Camp Hill, PA.

She was born March 19, 1962, in Morristown, NJ the daughter of Kenneth and Alice (Bush) Parmer of Harrisburg.

Kim was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School class of 1980 and Shippensburg University class of 1985.

She retired as a probation officer for York County. 

She is survived along with her parents by her husband Gary W. McDermott; her son, Kendall E. McDermott of Dillsburg; her brother, Jeff and his wife Caroline of Delaware; her two sisters, Suzanne Leighton and her husband Joseph of Washington, DC, Lisa Ditty and her husband Dave of Middletown; and her seven nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held Monday, December 23, 2024, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A visitation will be held Monday from 10-11 am at the funeral home.
