It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Krystal Lynne Kehner announce her unexpected and untimely passing on November 2, 2025.
Born and raised in both Delaware and Chester County, residing in York county, Krystal was only 28 years of age. She was a proud graduate of Academy Park High School. She graduated in the year 2015, where she made a lasting impact on staff and students alike, keeping in touch even after she relocated.
Krystal was an avid Jonas Brothers, One Direction, and Taylor Swift Fan. You could always find her listening to her favorite songs, smiling, and dancing through whatever life handed to her. She gave every ounce of energy into fighting kidney disease, facing an uphill battle from day one until the day God called her home to be with her very missed grandparents. Regardless of the battles she faced, she never once lost her energetic attitude, her unwavering smile, her sarcastic one-liners, and her amazingly weird hair colors that changed on a constant basis.
Krystal was a loving and caring daughter to both Kelli Gallagher and Matthew Hood. They were constantly laughing together, cooking new recipes, and trying new things. Together, they were always coming up with new ideas, and somehow, they always managed to make them work out and had fun while doing it.
Krystal was the devoted younger sister to Kirstie (Michael Casper). Growing up, they enjoyed attending summer concerts, shopping at the mall, going to the Wildwood boardwalk, hanging at the beach, and taking countless car rides. Krystal also is survived by an older brother, Michael Baldino (Heather Baffa). Krystal was also the caring older sister to Jessica Kehner. Together, the three siblings spent countless nights watching Disney movies, playing softball, and playing together on the Wii.
Krystal was an absolute amazing aunt to Kirstie’s two young children, Mikey and Bella, who adored their Aunt Skippy (and all the loud gifts she brought with her).
Krystal spent her short 28 years surrounded by countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She lived to laugh, enjoyed celebrating life’s little moments, and everyone’s achievements, no matter how small. Although she was only here for a short while and her battle was rough, Krystal was an absolute joy to be around and will be missed by everyone that knew her.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025, between 12:00 pm-4:00 pm in the Glenolden Fire House, 123 South Chester Pike, Glenolden, PA 19036.
A second celebration of life will be held in York County at a later date.
