LaRue Pugh, Jr., 66, of Dillsburg, PA passed away Thursday, February, 5, 2026, at his home.
He was born January 16, 1960, in Renovo, PA the son of the late LaRue Pugh, Sr. and Violet R. (Englert) Pugh.
LaRue served his country in the U.S. Air Force and then went on to retired as a Correctional Officer after 35 years at the Camp Hill State Prison.
His family, and walking his grand dog were some of his greatest Joys. He walked daily, rain or shine, and greatly enjoyed the people and friends he met along the way often having many small conversations during his walks.
LaRue is survived by his wife Chong O. Pugh; his son and companion, Daniel L. Pugh and Leah of Valencia; his siblings, Randy Pugh of Farwell, Katrina (Mike) Bixler of Renovo, Kimberly Pugh of Lock Haven; and nieces, Megan (Joseph) Houser, Tanya (Nick) Gentzyel, and Tara Parker. LaRue was preceded in death by his sister, Tammy Pugh.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
