Linda Lou Kilmore, 77, of Mechanicsburg, PA passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, Camp Hill, PA.
She was born May 15, 1948, in Williamsport, PA the daughter of the late John and Meriam (Yohe) Kilmore.
Linda was retired as a legal secretary.
Linda loved playing piano and organ for church and weddings. She could always be found outside in her garden. Linda lived in Lisburn for 50 years and she co-authored "Lisburn, our history and our neighbors, 1738-1976". She was the co-founder and chairperson of Lower Allen Township New Years Eve "Britches" drop which was named after the Yellow Breeches.
Linda has her name inscribed on the wall in the National Museum of The American Indian and enjoyed going to Native American Pow-Wows and attended 2 National Pow-Wows in Washington, D.C.
She is survived by three children, Charles P. Gleixner of Dillsburg, Rebecca L. Muller and her husband Rob of Franklintown, Cynthia S. Gleixner of Mechanicsburg; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, at last count, who called her "Moldy Cheese".
Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the Barrens Salem Union Cemetery, Dillsburg, PA.
