Linda Jane (Kissinger) Stevenson

Linda Jane Stevenson, 71, of Wellsville, PA passed away Monday, November 24th, 2025, at the U.P.M.C. West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg. 

   She was born Sunday, November 21st, 1954, in Mechanicsburg, PA the daughter of Betty L. (Basehore) Kissinger of Carlisle, PA and the late Clair M. Kissinger.

   Linda was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg, and various animal organizations including Gentle Giants, Nature Conservancy, and Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue.  

   Linda was our north star who did her very best to guide us, support us and take care of us, and loved us and life without limits. 

   She enjoyed reading, flower gardening, cooking and baking, interior decorating, and caring for her pets. 

   Linda is survived in addition to her mother by her loving husband of 47 years, Douglas L. Stevenson; her daughter, Andrea M. Bankes (Matthew) of Mechanicsburg; her granddaughter, Lillian Bankes.; and adopted sons, Jeremy Gehers and Adam Rohrer. She was preceded in death along with her father by a sister, Barbara A. Miller.

   Services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in the Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
