Lorraine M. (Snyder) Yeagy

Lorraine M. Yeagy, 81, of Dillsburg passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

    She was born September 19, 1941, in Mechanicsburg the daughter of the late Richard E. and Dorothy I. (Hollabaugh) Snyder.

    Lorraine was the widow of Ralph E. Yeagy, Jr. with whom she shared 58 years of marriage.

   She was a graduate of Northern High School, class of 1959. After graduation, she worked for the Pennsylvania Game Commission for several year before becoming a full time homemaker. 

   Lorraine enjoyed gardening and landscaping, puzzles and brain games, caregiving to her grandchildren and Penn State Football. 

   She is survived by a daughter, Sharon A. Bargo (husband Barry) of Frederick, MD; two sons, Stephen A. Yeagy (wife Michele) of Dillsburg, Scott A. Yeagy (partner Christi) of Etters; a sister, Sandra Sergent (husband Dave) of Edinburg, VA; and five grandchildren, Nicholas Yeagy, Jonathan Yeagy, Brandon Bargo, Breanne Bargo, Sawyer Yeagy.

   Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Dillsburg Cemetery-Golf Course Road.
