Lynn A. Flohr, 78, of Dillsburg passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the Pleasant Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in York.
He was born September 11, 1945, in Dillsburg, PA the son of the late Paul M. and Ethel M. (Hoffman) Flohr.
Lynn was a kind and thoughtful person. Lynn's lifelong love was working with and being around horses. He was a long-time member of the Dillsburg VFW where he enjoyed playing pool and socializing. He also enjoyed fishing with friends and family, playing pinochle, and going to the horse races. He made many beautiful latch hook rugs that won prizes at the Dillsburg Farmers Fair.
He is survived by a sister, Joyce O'Donnell of Campbell, CA; a brother, Larry and Ann Flohr of Kittery, ME; a sister-in-law, Clara Flohr of Dillsburg; two nephews, Clyde and Vicki Flohr, Jr. of Dillsburg, Clark Flohr of Greencastle; two nieces, Katherine and Dave Gilchrest of South Berwick, ME, Rebecca Hayes of South Berwick, ME; two great-nephews, Chris and Tanya Flohr, Connor Flohr; four great-nieces, Angie and Marc Smith, Camille and Cahlen Flohr, Evelyn Gilchrest; and great-great-nephews, Benton and Myles Smith. He was predeceased in addition to his parents by his brother Clyde M. Flohr and a nephew, Terry Evans.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 5, 2024, at 2:00 pm in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A visitation will be held from 1-2 pm at the funeral home.
