Margaret "Marge" Marie (Sampson) Schoffstall

Margaret "Marge" Marie Schoffstall, 92, of Dillsburg passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the Carlisle Hospital. 

Marge was born on May 25, 1932, to the late Joseph and Annie (Dunphy) Sampson in Argentia, Canada.

She worked as a legal secretary for the United States Air Force and retired from the Dauphin County Courthouse as a mortgage lien researcher.

Marge is survived by her husband of 58 years, Kenneth D. Schoffstall of Dillsburg; a son, Kenneth J. Schoffstall (Diane) of Wayside, MS; a daughter, Vicki L. Albert (Barry) of Dillsburg; grandsons, David E. and Jay B. Schoffstall of Wayside, MS; Benjamin L. Albert (Amanda) of Dillsburg; great-granddaughter, Emma Albert and great-grandson, Levi Albert both of Dillsburg; a sister, Anne Sampson of Stephenville, Newfoundland; brother-in-law, Daniel Schoffstall (Twila) of Boiling Springs; and sisters-in-law, Sally Speck (Barry) of Duncannon, Becky Eshelman of Mechanicsburg, Anna Schoffstall of Gardners, and Sharon Myers of Carlisle.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Howard Sampson (Carmel) and Daniel Sampson (Margaret); her sisters, Bridget Taylor (Bill) and Ellen Dolan (James); her brothers in law, Raymond Schoffstall of Gardners and Thomas Myers of Carlisle; a grandson, Henry Albert; great-granddaughters, Hannah and Matilda Albert; and her mother-in-law, Ida Myers of Dillsburg. 

Services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, PA. A viewing will be held Friday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Dillsburg Cemetery-Mountain Road.
