Marilyn F. (Sealover) Anderson

Marilyn F. Anderson, 87, of Wellsville passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle, PA.

   She was born February 13, 1937, in Braggtown, PA the daughter of the late Milford and Dorothy (Hess) Sealover.

   Marilyn was the widow of Robert W. Anderson and companion of the late Larry Wertz.

   She and her husband enjoyed riding snowmobiles and was a former member of the Black Forest Snowmobile Club. Marilyn enjoyed playing bingo, watching professional wrestling and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed times with the family at the Kralltown Camp in Potter County riding motorcycles, mini bikes and snowmobiles. Marilyn later rode four wheelers at her son's camp with her companion and enjoyed going to the snowmobile club and woodsmen's carnival.

   She is survived by two son, Michael L. Anderson (Dawn) , Robert W. Anderson, Jr. (Sharon); three daughters, Beverly A. Kemper (Greg), Susan A. Hiden, Julie A. Williams (Greg) all of Wellsville; two sisters, Donna Leidigh of Mt Holly Springs, June Hoover of Churchtown; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Marilyn was preceded in death by one sister, Darlene Christine; one brother, Lester Murray; and two great-grandchild. 

   Services will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 11:00 am in Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A viewing will be held from 10-11 am prior to the service. Burial will be held in the Salem Union Cemetery, Dover.
