Mark Eugene Hennessy

Mark Eugene Hennessy, 72 of Dillsburg passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at his home.

   He was born May 9, 1951, in Harrisburg the son of the late Clarence and Leona (Bixler) Hennessy.

   Mark was a retired network administrator. He worked for various places including Electronic Data Systems, Prelude System, Federal Emergency Management Administration, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 

   Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, NASCAR, reading and crossword puzzles.

   He is survived by his wife, Deborah L. (Stare) Hennessy; his two children, Connor L. Hennessy of Dillsburg and Rachel M. Hennessy of Camp Hill; one niece, Caroline Stare; and one nephew, Dylan Stare.

   A memorial gathering will be held Friday, February 23, 2024. from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc. 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, PA.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
