Marlet "Marty" Wilson Hawkins, 93, of Dillsburg, PA passed away Wednesday, July 29th, 2026, at his home.
He was born Saturday, November 5th, 1932, in Taxville, York County, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Claude Wilson and Vergie E. (Gingerich) Hawkins.
Marty served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was retired from the Navy Depot in Mechanicsburg.
He enjoyed bike riding, hiking, and gardening.
Marty is survived by his loving wife Mary I. (Daniels) Hawkins; four sons, Ronald W. Hawkins (Denise) of Wellsville, Rickey L. Hawkins (Shirley) of Dillsburg, Randy E. Hawkins (Beverly) of Dillsburg, John D. Hawkins (Debra) of Shiremanstown; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Marty was preceded in death along with his parents by a brother Darwin Hawkins.
Services and burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family in the Dillsburg Cemetery-Golf Course Road.
