Martha Ann (Bushman) Conrad

Martha Ann Conrad, 92, formerly of Shermans Dale passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the Thornwald Home in Carlisle.

   She was born January 19, 1931, in Carlisle, PA the daughter of the late Paul and Edna (Davidson) Bushman.

   Martha was the widow of Ross M. Conrad.

   She was a retired employee of Knouse Food.

   Martha enjoyed country and gospel music and listening to her television and radio ministers. 

   Martha is survived by three daughters, Phyllis A. Tressler (Richard) of Newville, Doris J. Sanno (Richard) of Shermans Dale, Nancy M. Smith (Todd) of Dover; three sisters, Mary E. Romito of Mt. Holly Springs, Pauline D. Brunner of Carlisle, Edna P. Wagner of Carlisle; five grandsons, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee Conrad.

   Services will be held Monday, August 21, 2023, at 2:00 pm in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A visitation will be held Monday from 1-2 pm at the funeral Home. Burial will be held in the Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsburg. 

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Residential Hospice, 100 Sterling Parkway, Ste. 110, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.

   The family would like to thank the personal and skilled care staff at Thornwald Home for their loving care given to Martha during her stay at the home.
