Martha P. (Potteiger) Hartman

Martha P. Hartman, 98, formerly of Dillsburg and Lancaster County passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Country Meadows in Mechanicsburg.

She was born January 24, 1927, in Harrisburg, PA the daughter of the late William and Anna (Pryor) Potteiger.

Martha was the widow of Robert C. Hartman.

She was a lifelong homemaker and enjoyed quilting and photography.

Martha is survived by three daughters, Joan M. Albert (Barry) of Dillsburg, Alice A. Hartman of Chambersburg, Kim J. Freeburn (Kenny) of Dillsburg; six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by a grandchild along with her husband, parents, and siblings.

Graveside services will be held Friday, February 28, 2025, at 1:00 pm in the Filey's Cemetery, 15 South Filey's Rd., Dillsburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lifesong Hospice & Palliative Care, 3880 Tecport Dr., Ste. 2, Harrisburg, PA 17111.

Martha's family would like to thank the staff of Country Meadows and Lifesong Hospice for the loving care given to their mother during her stay at Country Meadows.
