Martha B. (Dick) Hennessey

Martha B. Hennessey, 94, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023, at the Green Ridge Village, Newville.

   She was born June 5, 1929, in Huntingdon, PA the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Guthridge) Dick.

   Martha was the widow of Von Hennessey.

   She was a former garment worker having worked in Grantham. 

   Martha is survived by her son, Barry Hennessey and his wife Nancy of York Springs; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, siblings, and one great-grandchild.

   Services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in the I.O.O.F. Broad Top City Cemetery, Broad Top, PA.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Green Ridge Village, 210 Big Spring Road, Newville, PA 17241.
