Mary Lou Dietz

Mary Lou Dietz, 69, of Dillsburg, PA entered into Heavens Gates on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the York Hospital.
 
She was born the first day of March 1952 to the late August and Mary Lula Wagner Dietz in Johnstown, PA, later moving to Dillsburg with her parents and four brothers. Mary Lou attended Dover Schools and graduated in 1970.
 
She worked a number of jobs in her home area including Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Builders Insurance, Wellspan, but her most important position in life was being Pastor of the Mount Royal Full Gospel Church where she shared the love of her Lord and Savior.
 
Mary Lou enjoyed playing the piano and organ and did so in church and with her brothers in home jam sessions.
 
She is survived by her brothers; Harold (Margie) of Lordstown, OH, Jim (Bonnie) of Greenbackville, VA, and William (Rose) of Thomasville, PA; a sister-in-law, Linda Dietz of Carlisle, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Lou is preceded in death along with her parents by a brother August and nephews Randy and Danny.
 
A viewing will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 12:30-2:00 pm followed by the service at 2:00 pm at the Mount Royal Full Gospel Church, 6420 Carlisle Rd., Dover, PA with pastor Glenn Yohn of Victory Tabernacle, Carlisle, PA officiating.  Burial will follow in the Dillsburg Cemetery-Mountain Rod.
 
The use of masks and social distancing will be suggested.
