Matthew S. Dalbey

Matthew Stanton Dalbey of Dillsburg, PA passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, in Mechanicsburg, PA at the age of 68. 

   He was born on March 12, 1956, in Harrisburg, PA to the late William W. Dalbey, Jr. and Lucille (Poole) Dalbey.

   Matthew will be missed dearly by his siblings, William Dalbey, III, Deborah Enders and her husband Robert, Paul Dalbey and his wife Melissa along with four nieces and a nephew.

   He graduated from Cumberland Valley High School in 1974 and attended Clarion State College. After retiring from ABF trucking, Matt worked for seven years for American's Auto Auction. He loved going fishing and enjoyed many fishing trips with his friends Mike and Steve. Matt was dedicated to his pet animals especially his cat Dozer.

   A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2025, 7:00 pm, at the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, PA. A visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. prior to the service.
