Michael Howard Wolfkill, 64, of Dillsburg (and previously from Lawton, Oklahoma and Fairfax, Virginia) was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on September 26th, 2024.
Michael was born in Washington, Pennsylvania.
He attended Eisenhower High School in Lawton, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University. He had previously worked as a jeweler for JC Penney and a business analyst for Pitney Bowes in Stamford, Connecticut before retiring.
Everyone who came into contact with Micheal would describe him as the most genuine, loving and earnest man they had ever known. His heart for God and family was matched by very few people. The angels are rejoicing that one of God's own has joined Him in Heaven, while we mourn the loss of him from our touch. He will be dearly missed by many.
When Michael wasn’t spending time with his friends and family, you could find him rocking on his drum, supporting live music, tinkering on his beloved Firebird or Jeep, reading, watching old westerns and buying western gear to add to his extensive collection.
Michael is survived by his parents, Harry and Mary Lou Wolfkill; his brother, Patrick (Jenifer) Wolfkill; his spiritual sister Jenn (Rob) Hart; his nephews Harrison Wolfkill, Daouda Wolfkill, Dan (Kayla) Eyler; his nieces, Abigail Wenger, Elena (Tyler) Cappellett and Mary Eyler ; and his great-nephews, King Robertson, Weston Cappellett and England Mundy as well as many Aunts, Uncles and cousins who loved him.
We invite all of those who knew Michael to join us as we celebrate his life on October 26th, 2024 at 2 PM at Mountain Ridge Church, 32 Big Dam Road, Dillsburg, PA.
