Mildred M. Valencik

Mildred M. Valencik, 92, of Wellsville went to be with the Lord Monday January 22, 2024, at home alongside family.

   Mildred was born April 1, 1931 in Locust Township, Columbia County, a daughter of the late, Frank and Edna (Getrich) Valencik Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her seven siblings; Frank Jr., Chester, Charles, Vincent, Henry, and Eugene Valencik, and sister Agatha Holman.

   She was a graduate of Locust Township High School and worked for Bell of Illinois for 37 years. She did volunteer work at Providence/UPMC Hospital following retirement.

   Mildred is survived by son Timothy and wife Deborah, brother Hubert Valencik and wife Gloria, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

   Services were held privately at Cocklin Funeral Home, Dillsburg, PA at the request of the family. Burial is at All Saint’s Cemetery, Elysburg, PA.
