Nan Mathieson

Nan Mathieson, known to her American friends as Nicky, passed away on January 19, 2024, in Dillsburg, PA, at the age of 63. She was born on July 23, 1960, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Nan was a vibrant and passionate individual who lived life to the fullest.

Nan was inquisitive, curious, generous, energetic, passionate, and opinionated. Her inquisitive nature led her to explore various subjects, but she had a particular fascination with animal behavior and dog training. Nan possessed a deep understanding of animals and dedicated her time to training and understanding them better. She also had a talent for cooking and enjoyed experimenting with different recipes. Her culinary creations delighted the palates of her loved ones.

Nan had a love for reading and was often found engrossed in a book. She believed that books held immense knowledge and provided a gateway to different worlds. Nan's thirst for knowledge was insatiable, and she cherished the wisdom and experiences gained from her reading and from her extensive travel.

Nan is survived by her beloved wife, Megan, and her step-children Hannah, Adam, and Michael. Nan's presence will be missed by her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial service to celebrate Nan's life is being planned, where her loved ones will gather to honor her memory. The service will be live-streamed for international friends. Details of the service will be shared at a later date.
