Nancy H. (Henry) Barcelona

Nancy H. (Henry) Barcelona, 76, of Dillsburg, passed on to glory with her loving family by her side on Friday evening, July 19th, 2024. 

     Nancy was born Monday, December 15th, 1947 in Dillsburg, York County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late James and Ruth (Spertzel) Henry. 

     Nancy worked for many years as an administrative assistant, but always had a desire to further her education. She was able to accomplish that goal when she graduated from Tabernacle Baptist College in Greenville, South Carolina with a bachelor's degree in religious education in 2008. More than anything else though, Nancy loved her family. Her favorite title was definitely “Grammy.” She had a fierce love for the Lord and was a witness to everyone she met. She was a member and Sunday school teacher at Gettysburg Bible Baptist Church for over 25 years.

     Nancy was preceded in death by her first husband of almost 30 years, Michael Darnell Barcelona. She later found love again to her second husband, Bob Dunn, who also preceded her death in 2019. She is survived by her loving family: her sons, Michael Barcelona and Joseph Barcelona and his wife Christy.  Her grandchildren, Adam, Allison, Benjamin and Brooke.  Her brother and sister: Ralph Henry and Joyce Bowhall. 

    Memorial Services will be held on Saturday August 10th, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Gettysburg Bible Baptist Church, 3003 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg, PA. Light refreshments will be served after the service.
