Naomi Ann (Tyson) Euler

Naomi Ann Tyson Euler  " Nan " ,  passed on Monday, March 23, 2026.

   Nan’s father’s family is from Adams County, and her husband’s family is from York County. Nan was born in Moorestown, New Jersey. She was a graduate of Moore College of Art & Design.

   Familiar with rural living, Nan relocated from the Philadelphia area with three kids, Heather, Hunter, and Hollybrook, along with Nan’s retired Philadelphia park guard horse, Wing, to Wellsville.  In the early 1970s, Nan’s goals were to expand her kids' horizons and see that they got the best education. Nan was very active in the local arts community, the library, equestrian events, and pre-school through secondary schooling. She has four wonderful and driven grandchildren, Archer and Garrison Euler and Ella and Parker Doerr, who are a testament to Nan’s efforts.          Nan familiarized herself with history, particularly of women, through researching old samplers; she studied embroidery techniques and colors of early needlepoint. She was well known for her samplers and embroidery, designing her own and traveling all over the country to share the information and teach the skills with stitching groups. Nan’s embroidery students remember her as a master teacher and artistic inspiration. 

     After 58 years of marriage, husband Richard (Rudy) is proud of Nan and hopes he did right by her.
