Paul Eugene Weigel, Jr.

Paul Eugene Weigel, Jr., "Sonnie" age 81 of Lewisberry and formerly of Gardners, died on December 28th, 2023 at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.

   He was born on January 4th, 1942 to the late Paul  and Leta Ruth (Kellison) Weigel at Gettysburg, PA. He was a graduate of  Bermudian Springs and retired as a Laborer for Yorktown Wallpaper, York, PA.  Paul was a US Army Veteran of the the Vietnam War

   Paul was the widower of Elisa (Acuyado) Weigel, who passed away July 6th, 2013. 

  Paul is survived by his sister, Louise A. Becker (Robert) of Lewisberry; his brother, Walter N. Weigel (Susan) of Carlisle along with several nieces and nephews.  Along with his parents and loving wife, Paul was predeceased by a brother, Merle E. Weigel, of Dover. 

   Pauls wish was to donate his body to medical research graveside services and burial will be held at  Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a later date.
