Perry Wilson Witman, Sr., 60, of Dillsburg passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025.
He was born October 22, 1964, in Harrisburg.
He attended Red Land High School and then joined the U.S. Marine Corp where he obtained his G.E.D.
Perry was a mason by trade.
He was a former member of the South Mountain V.F.W. Post #6771, American Legion Post #26 both in Dillsburg and the Marine Corp League.
Perry enjoyed playing guitar, shooting pool, camping, fishing, watching western movies, singing and dancing, wrestling, and rock and roll especially Kiss.
He is survived by his wife Kimberly A. (Lohn) Witman; his mother and step-father, Pauline E. (Williams) and Donald F. Myers of Dillsburg; three children, Roxanne M. Witman of York, Alexandria D. Witman of Camp Hill, Perry "PJ" W. Witman, Jr. of Richmond, VA; a step-daughter, Jessica; two sisters, Barbara K. Tanner of Dillsburg, Sharon E. Riddle of York; eleven grandchildren, Illianna, McKenzi, Orion, Aurora, Amelia, Kiersten, Isaak, Alek, Dominik, Riley, and Camryn; and his canine companion Roxy. He was preceded in death by his father Earl W. Witman, Sr., and by a step-daughter Ashley.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025, 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A visitation will be held Thursday from 10-11 am at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be held at 2:00 pm in the Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
