Phyllis Elaine (Henry) Kuykendall

Heaven gained another angel early Tuesday morning, April 15, 2025.

Phyllis E. Kuykendall passed away in peace at the Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill. 

She was carried away by our heavenly Father at the age of 81 beautiful years old. Phyllis was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ben and Ethel Henry; siblings Robert, Sharon, Richard and Marlin Henry; her husband Stanley Kuykendall; and her son Kevin Kuykendall.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter Kelly Dalton and her husband John; her son Keith Kuydendall and his wife Amanda; her brother Ronald Henry and his wife Linda; her sister Joan Hess (Norman) and sister-in-law, Leah Henry; her grandchildren Megan, Brittney, Shannon, Kyle, Mallory, Kolin, Rowan, Sawyer and Alyssa. Nanny also spoiled many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews over the years. She also leaves behind her dearest and best friend, bingo buddy, and partner in crime for the last 73 years, Darlene Nelson.

Phyllis was retired from Pearl Vision in Hanover, PA and resided in Dillsburg, PA. She enjoyed coloring, playing games, puzzles and she was an avid and feisty bingo player for many years. She enjoyed doting on her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. When you went to visit nanny you always went home with a smile and all kinds of goodies. She was well known for her deviled eggs at every gathering. Mom always opened her cupboards, her refrigerator, her closets and her heart to everyone. To meet her was to love her. We have all been blessed beyond measure to have been able to call this beautiful and amazing woman our friend, daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt and niece. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 2:00 pm in Mountain Ridge Church, 32 Big Dam Rd., Dillsburg, PA 17019. A visitation will be held Saturday from noon until 2:00 pm prior to the service.
