Robert Herbert Becker, Jr., 81, of Lewisberry, PA passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025, at his home.
He was born January 10, 1944, in York, PA the son of the late Robert H. Becker, Sr. and Ada M. (Ruppert) Becker.
Robert was a graduate of Central York High School and retired from Caterpillar in York after 30 years of service.
He was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in York Haven.
Robert owned many classic cars, and enjoyed going to car shows and tinkering with cars and anything else with a motor. He would find free handicap scooters and other equipment, fix them up and give them away to those in need. One of his greatest joys was delivering Christmas gifts to underprivileged children in the central PA area and playing Santa at nursing homes and assisted living facilities. He loved his constant companion fur babies Skittles and Callie.
Robert is survived by his wife Louise Anna (Weigel) Becker; his children, Lanea Bredvick (Mark) of Lewisberry, Anita Bock (Frank) of South Carolina, Christopher Becker of Georgia; his step-daughters, Bonnie Dooley of Lewisberry and Lori Hench (Tom) of North Carolina; four grandchildren, one great-grandson, and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 12:00 pm in his church, Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 850 Pleasant Grove Rd., York Haven, PA. A visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 am-12:00 pm at the church.
