Robert Lee Hoover

Robert Lee Hoover, 79, of Boiling Springs passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the U.P.M.C. West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg. 

He was born March 25, 1944, in Carlisle the son of the late John and Mildred (Braugh) Hoover.

Robert enjoyed being a school bus driver for Millers. Robert was also a 2 times Military Veteran having served 29 1/2 years in the US Air Force.

He liked building model cars and was an avid woodworker. 

Robert is survived by his wife June L. (Sealover) Hoover; two sons, Bobby L. Hoover of Texas, Glenn Hoover of California; one step-son, Jimmy J. Smith (Chris) of Dillsburg; two brothers, Ronnie Hoover of Mechanicsburg, Rick Mellott (Lydia) of Carlisle; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Bob also leaves behind his beloved lab Zoe.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area.
