Robert (Bob) Danner Lichtenwalner, 84, of Dillsburg, PA (and formerly of New Freedom, PA) passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
He was born June 11, 1941, in Macungie, PA, the son of the late Edgar and Pauline (Danner) Lichtenwalner.
Bob was a retired manager for Ace Hardware in Pasadena, MD.
He served his community by being a member and former President of the New Freedom Lion Club and was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award which is the highest honor given by the Lions Club. He also was involved in the Palmyra Jaycees.
Bob loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his beloved wife, Carol. He enjoyed watching football and supporting his favorite team, the Baltimore Ravens. He also enjoyed playing cards and games with family and friends.
Bob is survived by his wife Carol A. (Brightbill) Lichtenwalner; his children, Erin Lipkowitz of Beverly, MA, Lisa Case of Mechanicsburg, PA, Eric (Rick) Light of Sykesville, MD, Kristin Wonderling of Lederach, PA, Jennifer McKinnis of Lafayette Hill, PA, David Lichtenwalner of Glen Burnie, MD; sister, Ann Mitchell of Rescue, CA; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
