Robert “Bob” A. Mast, 76 of Carlisle, PA went to be with the Lord peacefully on Thursday, November 18, 2021.
Bob was born in Buffalo, NY on December 17, 1944 to the late Ammon J. and late Rosetta M. Mast. Bob married DeEtta Mae Erb November 12, 1964 and shared 50 years of marriage before a brief time apart. God’s miracle working power brought them back together in reconciliation and they were remarried on October 3, 2021.
Bob had formerly lived in Clarence, Hammondsport, and Farmington, NY before moving to Carlisle, PA.
Bob spent 30+ years in the computer field and 10+ years driving truck for Schneider National where he enjoyed the beauty of God’s Creation all along the way. While at Schneider National, he became a CDL instructor and a CDL examiner for the company. He loved meeting and visiting with people. He loved photography and flying radio control airplanes with his son and grandson. He also enjoyed reading and being with his family. He loved the Lord and was seeking Him through reading the Bible, playing his guitar in various worship groups, and through fellowship with others. He volunteered and was an EMT for the Hammondsport Ambulance Corp. for many years. He currently attended Celebration Community Church in Dillsburg, PA.
Bob is survived by his wife DeEtta Mae Mast of Carlisle, PA; three children, Robert Dale (Valarie) Mast of Carlisle, PA, Susan Lynn (Joaquin) Noroña of Redding, CA, Carol Marie (Robert) Hackman, of Ephrata, PA; six grandchildren, Kailee (Jeremy) Hopersberger, Austin (Kendyll) Mast, Sarah (David) Dombrowski, Charlotte (Sean) Zinn, Emma Hackman, Grace Hackman; and two brothers, Richard J. (Cosalee) Mast of Phoenix, AZ, and Ronald P. (Karen) Mast of Wayland, IA.
Visitation will take place at Celebration Community Church, Dillsburg, PA on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 9:30 – 11:30 am with a Memorial Service following. Pastor Mike Hammer of Celebration Community Church will be leading the Memorial Service.
