Robert E. Stough

Robert E. Stough, 70, of Dillsburg passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, at his home.

   He was born February 13, 1951, in Mechanicsburg the son of the late Mary H. (Stough) and Ralph Slyder.

   Bob retired after 40 years of service with Amp/Tyco Electronics. He was a graduate of Northern High School, Class of 1969 and then went on to serve in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Bob was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Camp Hill, where he served as an usher. He was a life member and past commander of the Lawnton American Legion Post #998 and the Perseverance Lodge #21 F. & A.M., Harrisburg.

   Bob loved mowing and caring for his yard. He enjoyed watching the Steelers and LSU football. Bob loved traveling and meeting new people and enjoyed listening to music. He also enjoyed his long walks with Molly and teaching her to hunt.

   Bob is survived by his wife, Susan M. (Frutiger) Stough; three sisters, Gerry Hartman of Dillsburg, Barbara Wesner of York, Wanda Dent of Etters; and several nieces and nephews.

    A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 1:00 pm in his church, Good Shephard Catholic Church, 3435 E. Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA. A viewing will be held Saturday from 12:00 pm -1:00 pm at the church. 

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church, Good Shepard Catholic Church, 3435 E. Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
