Robert Clair Walters

Robert Clair Walters, 95, formerly of Wellsville, PA  passed away Monday, July 20th, 2026, at the home of his daughter in Mechanicsburg.

   He was born Tuesday, June 23rd, 1931, in Harrisburg, PA the son of the late Allen and Sara (Zimmerman) Walters.

   Robert was a self employed carpenter. 

   He enjoyed farming, gardening, woodworking, being a dog lover, and meticulously restored old homes.  

   Robert is survived by three children, Amy S. Harmon of Mechanicsburg, Bart Walters and his wife Lorie of Dover, Beverly A. Peiper and her husband Mark of Dillsburg; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas R. Harmon, and his great-grandchild. 

   Services will be held Saturday, August 1st, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Peace of Rolling Green Cemetery, 1811 Carlisle Road, Camp Hill, PA.
