Ronald Lee Albert, 80, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021, at the Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, Camp Hill.
He was born April 18, 1941, in Carlisle, the son of the late Raymond and Dorothy (Elicker) Albert.
Ronald graduated from Northern York County High School, class of 1960 and was retired from Metropolitan Edison after 40 years of service. Ronald was a member of the Trindle Spring Lutheran Church and was an avid Packers fan.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty (Wolfe) Albert; two sons, Donald and his wife Garen (Foltz) of Hutchinson, KS, Steven Albert of Carlisle; two granddaughters, Melissa and her husband William, Rachel Albert; one great-granddaughter, Emma Rice; three brothers, Robert and his wife Toni (Dean), Barry and his wife Jean (Hartman), Rick and his wife Deborah (Wolfe); one sister, Barbara Reffner (Charles-deceased); and nieces and nephews, Zachary, Jacob, Christine, Shannon, Ashley, Brittany Albert; Brian and Michelle Reffner. He was also preceded in death by a niece, Kimberly Souders, a nephew, Robert Comp; his grandparents, Ira and Sadie (Dahlheimer) Albert, Chester and Annie (Kuhn) Elicker, his great-grandparents, Josiah and Henriett (Leer) Albert, Lewis and Annie (Fanus) Elicker.
Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the Dillsburg Cemetery-Mountain Road.
