Sandra Joyce (Reefer) Bachert

Sandra Joyce Bachert, 82, formerly of Dillsburg, PA passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Cumberland Crossings in Carlisle, PA. 

She was born July 14, 1943, in Shelocta, PA the daughter of the late Miles and Laura (Hershberger) Reefer.

Sandra was the widow of Clarence C. Bachert, Sr.

She was a member of St. John "Franklin" Lutheran Church in Dillsburg and served on the church council. Sandra was a former leader in the 4H Club and was an expert seamstress who designed and sewed wedding gowns. 

Sandra is survived by three children, Hollyanne Kilmore (V. Eugene) of Dillsburg, Clarence C. Bachert, Jr. (Becky) of Dawsons Springs KY, Brian R. Bachert (Michelle) of Annville; one sister, Marion Winkleblech of Pine Grove; one sister-in-law, Nancy Bachert of Pine Grove; fifteen grandchildren, Alicia, Carl, Stephen, Kayla, Christopher, Shane, Lindsay, Katie, Vanssa, Brittany, Kyle, Abbie, Brandy, Heather, Autumn; and thirteen great-grandchildren, Sage, Bella, Piper, Madeleine, Elijah, Ava, Parker, Roman, Creedin, Aayla, Emeberly, Hailie, and Valiant. 

Services will be held Friday, November 7, 2025, at 1:00 pm in the Franklin Cemetery, 99 Clearview Road, Dillsburg, PA 17019.
