Sandra Kay Books

Sandra Kay Books, 69, of Dillsburg passed away Monday, October 27th, 2025, at her home.

   She was born Sunday, October 30th, 1955, in Harrisburg the daughter of Arlene V. (Myers) Books of Dillsburg and the late Kenneth M. Books.

   Sandra was a graduate of Northern High School class of 1974. She then went on to work at various business including Korvette's, Murphy Mart, Ames, Kinney Shoe, Bon-Ton and was currently employed with Karns Quality Foods where she worked in the corporate office for the last ten years. 

   Sandra was a member of the former Christ Lutheran Church-Fileys Parish and currently is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Dillsburg. She enjoyed attending craft fairs and following the Northern High School Band.

   Sandra is survived in addition to her mother by two brothers, Roger A. Books (Vivian) of Dillsburg, Eric W. Books of Dillsburg; one niece, Toni Hoffecker (Jeff) and one nephew, Greg Books (Christina).

   Services will be held Friday, October 31st, 2025, at 12:00 pm in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A viewing will be held Friday from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Dillsburg Cemetery-Mountain Road.
