Obituary
Sandra "Kay" Unangst, 77, of Dillsburg passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the Middletown Home.
She was born June 12, 1944, in Cumberland, MD the daughter of the late Joseph Ralph Bearinger, Sr. and Leahbelle Gladys (Bayer) Simmons.
Kay was a Elvis Presley fan, enjoyed playing cards and she really liked to make people laugh.
Kay is survived by a daughter, Susan R. Anderson and her husband Shawn of Dillsburg; two grandchildren, Kinsey S. Gassaway and Ivey A. Anderson; two step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren, Ayda R. Gassaway, Parker J. Anderson, Aria S. Martinec; and her niece Shelly R. Minnigh. Kay was preceded in death by her son, James C. Funk, Jr.; the father of her children, James C. Funk, Sr.; and her brother, Joseph R. Bearinger, Jr.
Services will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 4:00 pm in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A viewing will be held from 3-4 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Middletown Home, 999 W. Harrisburg Pike, Middletown, PA 17057.
