Serena Danielle Holley, 33, of Middleport, PA passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA.
She was born May 17, 1991, in Harrisburg, PA the daughter of Thomas E. Holley of Enola and Constance H. Ledger of Dillsburg.
Serena recently completed her studies to become a phlebotomist and started working at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
She enjoyed cats, fishing, anime, and Hawaii . Her favorite cartoon was Sponge Bob, her favorite movies were Napoleon Dynamite and Titanic, and her favorite song was Free Bird.
Serena was a gentle, kind, loving soul, with a big presence. She was either the most shy, quietest one in the room, or the absolute light of the room. She could make a stranger smile with a corny joke, or even giggle a whole room into belly laughter. Serena had that kind of energy that people were drawn to. She was passionate about her art, and loved to draw and paint. Charcoal her most preferred. She loved going to school for and learning about chemistry, and medical sciences, though she had always dreamed of being a marine biologist, with her biggest dream being to get to go down and explore the leftover ruins of the Titanic (her all time favorite movie/story), or at least the depths of the oceans. She loved the ocean, being by it, or on it, that was peace for her. She had a huge love for Disney and animated movies, and fantasy tales, always enjoyed singing along, dancing to, and reciting them, word for word. She loved spicy food, would eat it until she was in tears, and sour candy (especially blue raspberry), she'd eat that stuff until her tongue was raw.
Serena is survived in addition to her parents by her maternal grandparents Hiroko and John Ledger of Camp Hill; her aunts, Teresa A. Davenport of Harrisburg, Debbie Evans Baker of Camp Hill; her uncles, Jack Ledger of Palmyra, Patrick Davenport of Harrisburg, Larry Ledger of Mechanicsburg; her cousins, Niki Musser, Katie Musser, Julian Ledger, Justin Ledger, Trevor Ledger, Suki Ledger; and her second cousins, Skylar, Kenji, Bane, and Luca.
