Shirley Ann (Ingle) Williams

Shirley Ann Williams, 78, of Dover, PA passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at her home.

   She was born January 6, 1947. in York County, PA the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Wise) Ingle.

   Shirley was the widow of Earl S. Williams.

  She was a graduate of Dover High School and retired as a International Customer Service Representative for Johnson Controls. 

   Shirley was a loving mother, proud grandmother and wonderful friend. She was a member of the Viking Athletic Club in York and enjoyed crafting, flowers, birdwatching, cooking and baking and spending time with her family including her grandchildren and extended family. 

   She is survived by one daughter, Melissa S. Mease (Jim) of York; one son, Lewis H. Williams of Wiggins, CO; two sisters, Bonnie Yocum (Richard) of Dillsburg, Susan Adams (Barry) of Mechanicsburg; two grandchildren, Haylee Williams, Aiden Williams; and many nieces and nephews. Shirley also leaves behind her special companion Princess and grandpuppy Willie.  She was also preceded in death by a sister Darlene Shetter.

   Services will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 10-11 am at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg.
