Dr. Stephen J. Davis, MD, 72, of Camp Hill passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center, Enola.
He was born June 8, 1949, at the Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines, the son of the late Frank Davis, Jr. and Josephine (Habib) Davis.
Dr. Davis was a retired physician. He specialized in Internal Medicine and Pulmonology and maintained his private practice and affiliation with Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill from 1981 until his retirement in 2016.
Dr. Davis completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A. & M. University and medical school at the University of Texas-Dallas. He then went on to do his internship and fellowship at the United States Air Force Wilford Hall Medical Center, San Antonio, TX. Dr. Davis served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
Dr. Davis was a member of the West Shore Evangelical Free Church, Mechanicsburg. He enjoyed tennis, history, and taught himself Ancient Greek and enjoyed visiting Greece.
He is survived by his wife Karen M. (Nellis) Davis; one son, Stephen Justin Davis (Suzanne) of Malvern; one granddaughter, Lillian Grace; and two step-grandsons, Josh and Sam. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Davis, III and a sister, Kristen Davis.
Services and burial will be held privately in the Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
